Metro Gourmet Catering grew out of Jenny's Lunch Line, which opened in 2005 for the sole purpose of providing a better, healthy lunch alternative for the people in Downtown Boise. Originally specializing in catering lunch meetings and company gatherings, the company has blossomed into a Full Service Boutique Catering Company.

At Metro Gourmet Catering we prefer to think that we are “designing” instead of “selecting” a menu for your event. We will develop every detail of your menu with your vision in mind. That is what it means to be “boutique”. We guarantee that only the finest and freshest ingredients will be used to prepare your food, and we strive to use local whenever possible. We encourage you to incorporate locally grown seasonal produce, Artisanal breads, family recipes and childhood favorites into your design. The results of our collaboration will be a culinary experience that is a delight for all the senses and one that will leave you and your guests with a heartwarming memory. Metro Gourmet Catering can handle all of your special event needs. We cater breakfast meetings, hot lunches, board meetings, company picnics, weddings, dinner parties, anniversary dinners as well as offering a personal chef service for small dinner parties and gatherings in your home. We now specialize in any type of special event requiring great food and great service. The high standards we uphold provide our clients with an eclectic selection of menu offerings using only the finest & freshest ingredients. We pride ourselves in providing you with highly skilled service, artful presentation, magical ambiance and most importantly, delicious food.

On Site Catering We can also accommodate smaller catering events of up to 50 people, at our restaurant Jenny's Lunch Line & Gourmet Catering Company. We offer Buffet, Family and Plated Service. The restaurant is available for parties and special events Monday through Friday from 5:00 pm to 10:00 pm and Saturday and Sunday from 8:00 am to 10:00 pm. There is a charge for rental of the restaurant and annex.
